Adolescent Development & Participation (ADAP)

Adolescents Development And Participation(ADAP) is a youth-related program from UNICEF. ADAP is a program aimed at overall development of adolescents. This program focuses on the development of adolescents towards participation at different levels. It is expected to empower adolescents to be the stakeholders for themselves.

For the implementation of ADAP Project, UNICEF has partnered with many youth-related organization including the Government of Nepal through the Ministry of Youth & Sports. Nepal Scouts being the premier youth movement in the country, it is doing this project proficiently in coordination with Ministry of Youth & Sports, UNICEF & concerned District Scout Office. Nepal Scouts is implementing this project in many VDCs of Six districts, Achham, Bajura, Mugu, Humla, Dhanusha & Saptari. Through this project, more than 3000 scout adolescents are expected to participate and get empowered.
