3L Project 2020 Roll Out session

A Roll Out session has been completed in Central School for Deaf, Naxal, Kathmandu on 1 March 2022, under the 3L Project 2020 funded by Friends of Asia Pacific WAGGGS(FAPW). Nepal Scouts AIS/Training Officer Mabila Khadka rolled out the session with the help of transcriber teachers of the school along with Scout Leaders and Ranger Scouts.


11 girls and 13 boys participated in the session. Nepal Scouts National Coordinator Mr. Lok Bahadur Bhandari handed over the certificates to the participants. He informed the students that scouting is for all and he will coordinate to help them join scouting. He also told that Scouting helps people with different abilities to bring them into the mainstream through the diversity and inclusion aspect of world scouting. The students expressed their happiness being part of the project and learning new things.

National Coordinator Bhandari announced that working with people of different abilities is the new beginning in Nepal Scouts and he will arrange training for the teachers of the school and provide free scout uniforms for the students to bring them into Scouting. The students were thankful for the gesture and were happy and committed to join Scouting.
