Induction Training for newly appointed NEC PCC & NYC

The induction training for the recently appointed members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), Provincial Chief Commissioners (PCC) and National Youth Council (NYC) of Nepal Scouts was effectively conducted at Kakani International Scout Centre (KISC) from 13 to 15 March 2024.

The presence of distinguished facilitators such as Mr. S Prassanna Shrivastava from WOSM APR Support Center, Ms. Prarthana Liyanage from WAGGGS and Mr. Madhusudan Avala, WOSM Consultant greatly enhanced the event’s significance.

The training was organized in collaboration with WAGGGS and WOSM, in conjunction with the National Headquarters. In total, there were 52 participants, including both National and Provincial Staff members.

The overall aim of the training was to prepare the members of the NEC, PCC & NYC to successfully carry out their role; align the NEC, PCC & NYC around the priorities set by the Vision 2032 and develop the roadmap.

The agenda for the 3 day induction training was divided into 4 parts: Induction Training, Reviewing the Goals stated on the Strategic Plan and and agreeing on working methods and work on Continuous learning and performance review.
