Cub/Brownie is the first section of the scouting program. Children between the ages of 6 – 10+ years can be members of this section.
The group of Cub/Brownie in this section is known as Pack that consists of minimum 12 and maximum 24 members. Each Pack consists of two Six having 6 children. Six are named after different colors (e.g. Red).
The Cub/Brownie Section has 4 levels: Membership, Star, Moon, and Sun. Cub/Brownie have to spend at least 6 months meeting to be qualified for another progressive level/stage. Cub/Brownie should earn at least 6 proficiency badges meeting the five dimension of character development by the time she reaches the last/4th level of the section. Going up/flying up ceremony should conduct to send the Cub/Brownie into scout section. Cub Master/Brown Owl should hand over Cub/Brownie to the Scout Master after the going up/flying up ceremony. If there is situation of that Cub/Brownie has to discontinue the school, then he/she has to request for the recommendation from his/her present Pack to join in the new Pack.[:ne]
Cub and Brownie are 7 to 10+ age Scout. They can join in any available Pack in Local community or school as a Cub or Brownie scout member. There will be of six member in each standard group named “SIX”. Each group/six are named by Color. Cubs represent a cub of wolf related with a story book (Jungle book) by Rudyard Kipling and Brownies are related to a story about ” Brownie”.

Scout Troops are open in School and Local community. Everyone can join the scouting in the respective scout troops located in local area or in school (subject to availability). In the troop they must be a member of small group named Patrol. Every Patrol is naming by animal for boys and bird for girls.

Girl/Boy Scouts Section is the second section of the scouting program. Children between the ages of 11 – 15+ years can be members of this section.

Rover/Ranger is the fourth and last section of the scouting program. Young people and youth between the ages of 16 – 25 years can be members of this section. The group of Rover/Rangers in this section is known as Crew that consists of a maximum of 24 minimum 8 members. Teams are named after different national idols of the country.
The crew shall be run in the Secondary School, Campuses and other organizations except for political parties. Open Rover/Ranger Crew shall be run in the community. Approval should be taken from the related body of Nepal Scouts to open the Rover/Ranger Crew. Rover/Ranger Crew shall be run under the leadership of authorized Rover/Ranger Leader. There Section has 4 levels: 1) Probation stage (membership) 2) Training stage 3) Service stage and 4) Leadership stage. Rover/Ranger have to spend at least 6 months meeting to be qualified for another progressive level. Rover/Ranger should earn at least 4 proficiency badges meeting the five dimension of character development by the time she/he reaches the last/4th level of the section.

[:en]Rover and Ranger are 16 to 25 age scout. They have their own program (Curriculum). youth from 16 to 25 age group can join in any available Crew in local area as a rover or Ranger scout member. They must be a member of their small group named Team. Every team names them by mountains.[:]
